Castlevania cosplay art photos that will make you smile

October 28, 2014

One thing I never get tired of, is looking for and finding new Castlevania cosplay and art. Why?, because there seems to be so much of it out there, with so many people involved in it and enjoying it even more than we enjoy looking at it. Since we have stumbled upon the 25th anniversary of the Castlevania game series, it's only fair that we take another look at some of the precious work that's been performed and created over the years for this long time and everlasting series.

A well known site called DeviantART is the top most place for finding such gems, and they are certainly no exception when it comes to cosplay and concept art for not just Castlevania, but many other games and movies, comics, anime and manga and much more. There are so many contributions that have given to the site over time, it's hard to know where to start. So let's just stick to one of my personal favorite sections of it, the gallery of this post. I'll point out some of the highlights you should look at. Castlevania art never looked so good.

First, two big attractions there are the Alucard, Maria Renard, Trevor Belmont, and even Albus and Shanoa from Castlevania Order of Ecclesia are there, with their extremely stylish cosplay outfits that some of you would love to have for yourselves. That's just the tip of the iceberg, as they have an enormous amount of concept art that many have contributed there.

Some better than others, but all are appreciated and admired. Especially since people like me don't have much of the artist skill I wish I had. There are even stamps there based on Castlevania, imagine that.

You never realize how popular a game series is, until you witness so many people getting into the act of it, and out of total appreciation for it. I see concept and cosplay work like this all the time, but never to the degree that I've seen it coming from this one particular site. So take a good look at just a few I handpicked here below, and watch the video that someone posted on YouTube.

Yes, there are a number of videos of cosplay action on the Internet as well. Can't live without that! Then take a look at the DeviantART page for Castlevania and let me know what you think of it in the comment section.
