Some of the best Metal Gear merchandise you've ever laid your eyes on

June 21, 2015

Now that the E3 show has wrapped things up, along with dishing out some cool new footage and images for the new Metal Gear Solid 5 game, why not some photos stuck in your faces for the die hard collectors out there. This September 1st will mark the first real Metal Gear game to come out in a long time.

The last time the fans were this excited was way back in 2008 when Guns of the Patriots hit the scene for the PS3. Sure there was Peace Walker, along with Social Ops for the mobile market, but you've waited a long time to get your grubby little hands on an all new titles. Ground Zeroes was only the beginning, being a short walk through the park and a simple warm up compared to the massive open world experience just around the corner.

While the heat it building up for The Phantom Pain and Solid Snakes first true open world title, along comes the merchandise to give it some extra spice, and Play-Arts is there like clockwork to dish them out. These are some of the finest detailed figures I've seen in a long time.

I thought the Raiden figures a few years ago were right up there, but these take the cake and bake the cake. Along with other names you love like the sniper Quiet character figure you see below.

These figures are already on the market, and are getting some serious attention from fans and collectors alike. Take a look at them below, and comment on what you think of them and if you plan on adding these to your Metal Gear arsenal soon.

They would make for a nice Christmas gift this holiday season you think? Some food for thought. I really want that watch folks.
